Our minister: Rev. Armida Alexander

Armida Alexander is a recycled grandmother who brings to ministry years of experience working in factories, restaurants, schools and offices as clerk, waitress, teacher and secretary.

One with this sort of background undertakes ministry with appropriate trepidation and humility, yet all life is pertinent to the task at hand. When she delves into the political stream, it is from the far left bank, and this left-ness permeates most of her attitudes toward economics, pedagogy and theology.

She is a storyteller, and stories from the world's scripture, fairy and folk tales figure prominently in her sermons and R.E. classes.
